This article presents a proposal of a design of didactic sequences to promote meaningful learning in virtual learning environment. This proposal was design as a potential supporting material for professors of clinical subjects in dentistry-teaching who, as many others, during this pandemic situation (due to COVID-19), have found themselves facing, partially or totally, the challenge of carry out an academic year through virtual environments; scenario that seems to have come to stay. To carry out this proposal, an online survey was used to diagnose the level of technological competencies of a group of dentistry academics and their opinion regarding the use of active methodologies in their subject. Then, based on the results obtained, a dossier with didactic sequences was designed, according to the needs evidenced, to be applied in their own context. Finally, the proposal materialized in the dossier was sent for validation to five academic experts in the educational area, all dentists, obtaining a positive evaluation and suggestions that were considered in the final design of a reformulated dossier.
