Work engagement, satisfacción y rendimiento laboral: el rol de la cultura organizacional

Resumen

El estudio investigó la relación entre work engagement, satisfacción laboral y rendimiento en la tarea, en el contexto chileno. Se usó un diseño de encuesta transversal, a una muestra por conveniencia (n=255) (hombres=28%, mujeres=72%). La encuesta usó la escala de work engagement UWES-9 (Schaufeli, Bakker y Salanova, 2006), la escala de satisfacción laboral genérica (Macdonald y MacIntyre, 1997) y la escala rendimiento en la tarea (Koopmans et al., 2013). Se analizaron las correlaciones con SPSS. Además, se analizó teóricamente el rol de la cultura organizacional en el modelo propuesto. Se encontró que work engagement tiene una fuerte relación con satisfacción laboral, y que esta variable se relaciona positivamente con rendimiento en la tarea. Se espera que culturas organizacionales fuertes influyan positivamente la relación entre work engagement, satisfacción laboral y rendimiento en la tarea.
