Abstract

The first section of "Última Década" focuses on the musical expressions and street dancing of young people. In his article titled "Sociomusical identity of aymaran youth: The music sound" BERNARDO GUERRERO discusses ideas surrounding sound music as a device for identity production among Aymara youth from the northern regions of Chile. MÁRCIA MATHIAS NETTO, in "Street dance: Young people between recreation projects and work" explores the processes of constructing urban youth identities, using the cultural expressions of a group identifying with hip-hop culture as a foundation.
