The article exposes experiences by university students in the context of physical isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used is qualitative research; the participants were six students from La Araucanía, Chile. The information-gathering instrument is the semi-structured interview. The results reveal situations that have generated anxiety in university students, which has affected the personal, social and academic environment, leading to a restructuring of their daily lives.
